Frequently Asked Questions

Do you see clients online or in person?

All services are currently offered via secure telehealth video sessions. This allows clients and families throughout Massachusetts to access therapy from the comfort of their home. Parent coaching and support services are available to families nationwide.

What populations do you work with?

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, grief, and pet loss. I also have a deep understanding of the unique experiences faced by military and first responder families, both through clinical experience and lived experience as a spouse. My approach honors structure, resilience, and personal responsibility while maintaining warmth and compassion.

How is therapy different from coaching?

Therapy focuses on addressing emotional or behavioral health challenges through evidence-based methods and requires a professional license. Coaching, on the other hand, is non-clinical and helps families develop skills, structure, and strategies to support their children at home and school.
I’m licensed to provide therapy only to clients in Massachusetts, but coaching is available to families in any state.

Can I work with you for parent coaching even if my child isn’t in therapy?

Yes. Parent coaching can be an excellent resource for families seeking support, even without the child being directly involved in therapy. Many families find that coaching gives them clarity, tools, and confidence to navigate complex behaviors and family stressors.

Do you work with adults too?

Yes. I offer therapy for adults in Massachusetts focusing on parenting stress, life transitions, grief, and pet loss — including the emotional weight of end-of-life decisions for beloved animals. I provide a grounded, reality-based space where clients can process their experiences and move forward with strength and perspective.

Do you work with military and first responder families?

Absolutely. I have both personal and professional experience supporting these families and understand the unique pressures and resilience they bring. My goal is to provide a space that respects values like service, dedication, and loyalty — while offering practical tools for managing stress, relationships, and family dynamics.

Do you accept insurance?

I currently operate as a private-pay provider, allowing for greater flexibility and privacy in treatment planning without insurance limitations. Superbill receipts are available for clients wishing to seek out-of-network reimbursement.

What’s your approach to therapy?

My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and deeply relational. I combine evidence-based strategies with practical, reality-focused guidance. I value honesty, consistency, and empowerment — helping clients gain clarity, build skills, and create lasting change.
