MaKenna Arrigo is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
(LICSW) and doctoral candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy.
With over a decade of experience in clinical mental health, she
has supported children, families, and adults across a variety of
settings — from crisis response and outpatient therapy to
school-based counseling and healthcare systems.
MaKenna brings a grounded, straightforward, and values-based
approach to her work. She believes in helping clients find clarity
and resilience through life’s challenges — whether that means
parenting a child with ADHD, navigating family stress, grieving
the loss of a beloved pet, or adjusting to major transitions. Her
practice integrates evidence-based strategies with a practical
understanding of real-world family dynamics.
In addition to her clinical expertise, MaKenna has lived experience as both a military and first responder spouse. This background gives her a personal understanding of the unique stressors, sacrifices, and strengths these families carry. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive, reality-focused space that honors service, structure, and personal responsibility while offering compassion and connection.
Outside of her professional life, MaKenna is a mother of three boys and an animal lover who shares her life with dogs and horses. She finds joy in the simple rhythms of nature, time with family, and the meaningful work of helping others grow through life’s challenges.
